Job Description
Coordinates and executes all activities involved with incoming and outgoing shipments, processing, packaging and warehouse management
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- You manage both inbound and outbound shipping activities to meet internal and external customer expectations.
- You operate a forklift and are vigilant in regards to safety. You operate a van truck to transport components to and from off-site storage.
- You operate the processing and packaging equipment efficiently
- always striving to find a better way of performing daily tasks and improving the team as a whole.
- You accurately maintain quality records, consistently conduct quality inspections and notify your coach if something doesn't look quite right.
- You conduct and document scheduled sanitation inspections routinely to provide a safe, high quality working environment ensuring that Barkman Honey customers are receiving the highest quality honey that they expect.
- You look for ways to improve and simplify the process to make things better/easier.
- You do your part to keep the Local Honey Pack Facility clean and neat by documenting cleaning tasks on the Master Cleaning Schedule.
TOOLKIT/SKILLS REQUIRED
- You have high attention to details.
- You are a team player and willing to do whatever it takes to complete the days packaging goal.
- You maintain physical fitness and safety to properly grab, lift and move product and equipment
- you're willing to get your hands dirty.
- You have effective interpersonal communication skills, a positive attitude and work well in teams.
- You have problem-solving and analytical skills.
