Full-Time Role Overview Our manufacturing facility in Clearwater, FL, is looking for a skilled Euroturn CAM Drive Operator to support our production operations. Please note that this role focuses on mechanical cam-driven equipment; it does not involve CAD/CAM programming or CNC machining tasks. We are searching for a professional capable of managing the setup, operation, and maintenance of Euroturn CAM Drive machinery. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical proficiency, ensuring that high-volume production runs meet strict quality standards and precise tolerances. Core Duties Execute production runs by setting up and managing Euroturn CAM Drive machinery. Help ensure consistent output by installing, swapping, and fine-tuning machine components, guides, and mechanical cams. Analyze engineering drawings and blueprints to ensure parts are manufactured to exact specifications. Optimize production throughput by observing machine behavior and performing necessary mechanical tweaks. Support quality assurance by conducting first-piece, in-process, and final inspections with precision tools. Reduce operational downtime by identifying and resolving mechanical, tooling, or production-related challenges. Help maintain high standards of quality while achieving daily production targets. Contribute to a safe and organized workspace by adhering to all established safety protocols. Required Skills and Experience Direct experience in the setup and operation of Euroturn CAM Drive systems is mandatory. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with a background in cam-operated equipment. Proficiency in interpreting technical blueprints and engineering schematics. Skilled in the use of inspection equipment, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Proven track record of maintaining tight tolerances within a precision manufacturing setting. Ability to work autonomously and productively in a high-speed manufacturing environment. Strong capabilities in mechanical troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving. Essential Clarification This position is strictly for mechanical CAM-operated systems. Applicants with backgrounds limited to G-code programming or CNC machining will not be eligible for this role. Equipment and Tasks The machinery relies on mechanical cams, gear-driven motion, adjustable tooling, and mechanical timing systems. Key responsibilities involve machine setup, changing cams and tooling, adjusting feeds and speeds, producing precision components, and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Training Details New hires will undergo a training period on the 1st Shift before moving to their permanent 2nd Shift assignment. Required Proficiency Euroturn CAM operation
