Job Description Join our dedicated team as an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) Operator , where you will play a key role in our modern, customer‑centric cold‑chain operation. Our facilities are built for high‑throughput distribution, providing advanced cold storage, handling, and value‑added services for major food and logistics clients across the U.S. We utilize cutting‑edge, temperature‑controlled warehouse systems to support consistent quality and efficiency. Responsibilities Operate a double‑length electric pallet jack to move, load, unload, and transport palletized goods throughout the freezer warehouse. Pick, stage, and organize products to support inbound and outbound operations, including put‑away, replenishment, order selection, and loading. Perform equipment checks and follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and cold‑storage procedures. Work efficiently within a 5°F freezer environment while using warehouse management systems for scanning, pallet tracking, and location accuracy. Maintain organization and cleanliness of aisles, staging lanes, and work areas. Follow all food‑safety, inventory, and quality‑control standards to ensure product integrity. Essential Skills Proficiency operating an Electric Pallet Jack (EPJ) in warehouse or cold‑storage settings. Ability to maneuver pallets safely and precisely in tight aisles and fast‑paced environments. Comfortable working full shifts inside a 5°F freezer . Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience handling double‑pallet loads with an EPJ. Ability to meet productivity goals while maintaining excellent accuracy. Strong understanding of cold‑chain handling, food‑storage rules, and safety protocols. Physical ability to lift, stack, and move product throughout the shift. Why Work Here? PPE is provided to ensure safety, comfort, and protection throughout daily job functions. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Daytona Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
