In this role, you'll be responsible for preparing finished goods for shipment, maintaining high-quality packaging processes, and supporting the overall flow of production. Responsibilities Carefully package products according to specified guidelines, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met. Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment safely to assemble and prepare items for packaging. Utilize programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to monitor packaging machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly. Follow all FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) to maintain compliance during packaging processes. Use forklifts and warehouse experience to move materials efficiently within the production area. Conduct routine inspections of packaging lines to identify and resolve potential issues quickly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging station, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Requirements Prior experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environments is highly preferred. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with hand tools are essential for troubleshooting equipment. Ability to operate forklifts safely; forklift certification is a plus. Knowledge of FDA regulations and CGMP standards relevant to packaging in regulated industries. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills. Ability to stand, walk, and lift materials regularly throughout shifts. Effective communication skills and a proactive attitude toward teamwork. $22.55 - $27.15 per hour
