This is an Agricultural Labor Program clearance order for temporary or seasonal agricultural workers.

Interested applicants should report to any State Workforce Agency (SWA) career center for help in contacting the employer. Referral by a career center provides program guarantees and protections that may not be available to a worker not referred. Workers must have valid identification for I-9 preparation when they report to the employer location to begin work. The employer may use the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services E-Verify Program to verify employment eligibility. C. Workers referred to this job by a SWA should report to a career center between 5 and 9 work days before the job start date to verify the job start date is the same. Failure to do so may disqualify the worker from the assurances of this Job Order. Worksites are located in St. Lucie and Osceola Counties. Housing is located in Ft. Pierce, FL. (St. Lucie County). D.
Job Offer:
Sod Delivery Driver:
Delivers sod produced on the farm in the state of Florida within a radial of 247 miles from the field in which it was grown (in its unmanufactured state), pallets, farm equipment, trays or other products or equipment owned by company, to storage or to market or to a carrier for transportation to market. Drivers will be able to return their residence or to the employer-provided housing sites listed in the job order each day, and no overnight stay required. Load and unload sod using forklift. Operate forklift to load and unload sod onto farm vehicles and transport sod within the farm. Drive a tractor-trailer combination with a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) of 26,001 pounds or more. Requires valid commercial drivers' license issued by a U.S. state or foreign equivalent. Must be at least 23 years of age. Must be proficient in English. CDL driver's license must be active for length of work contract period. Must obtain a DOT medical examiner's certificate before commencing work and provide a 2 year driving record report. Must abide by precise instructions and strict but necessary safety rules and policies. Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety and emergency equipment is in good working order. Secure and cover sod for transport. Maintain logs of working hours following all applicable state and federal regulations. Workers may be requested to submit to random drug or alcohol tests at no cost to the worker. Failure to comply with the request or testing positive may result in immediate termination. All testing will occur post-hire and is not a part of the interview process. Negative result may be required post-hire and before commencing work. Must be able to lift 75 lbs. to shoulder height repetitively throughout the workday. Use of cell phone or other personal electronic device while driving strictly prohibited by law and violation may result in immediate termination. Requires 24 months CDL driving history .
Pay:
Florida Adverse Effect Wage Rate (AEWR) - $23.84 per hour ¾ Guarantee is in effect.

Withholding:
Federal Income Tax, Social Security and Medicare, and any deductions agreed to by the worker in writing. Work rules will be found in the Clearance Order. E. Contract period is February 18, 2026 to October 20, 2026 .
Hours:
48 hours per week
Days/Hours:
Monday thru Saturday 8 hours per day . Work may be offered but not required on Sundays and holidays. Extra work hours may be offered based on weather and other conditions. F. Employer will refund workers living outside commuting distance the reasonable transportation and subsistence costs to report for the first day of work on the 50% date. Will provide workers who complete the contract period the reasonable cost of transportation and subsistence to return to place of recruitment or to report to the next H-2A job. G. Housing and Board.
Housing:
Will provide free housing for workers who arrive from outside daily commuting distance. Family housing is not available. Meals (Board): The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Workers will buy their own groceries. In addition, and to assure access to stores where workers can buy groceries, the employer will provide access to one or more passenger vehicles with a GVWR of less than 13 tons that requires a standard driver's license to operate. The passenger vehicle may be used on or off the farm by the workers to transport themselves around the farm during working hours and off-the-farm to the grocery store, bank, etc. outside of working hours at their discretion. Workers are neither required nor expected to arrange for the routine pick-up of another worker or group of workers on a regular schedule at other housing locations or centralized pick-up points. The employer does not control when the workers go to the grocery store during the week or designate any particular worker to drive. The employer will furnish fuel for the vehicle. Housing meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. Rules regarding living accommodations will be found in the Clearance Order. Transportation provided by the employer meets the requirements of Federal, State and Local regulations. H. Prohibition against preferential treatment of aliens: The employer's job offer must offer to U.S. workers no less than the same benefits, wages, and working conditions that the employer is offering, intends to offer, or will provide to H-2A workers. Job offers may not impose on U.S. workers any restrictions or obligations that will not be imposed on the employer's H-2A workers. This does not relieve the employer from providing to H-2A workers at least the same level of minimum benefits, wages, and working conditions which must be offered to U.S. workers. I.
