Job Description Help for Job Description. Opens a new window. In this role, you will impact on the overall manufacturing efficiency and product quality by ensuring machines are properly set up and maintained, helping to meet production targets and customer satisfaction.
- Set up and adjust machinery and equipment to meet production specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and quality checks to ensure machine performance and product consistency.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of machine setups, adjustments, and production outputs.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Experience in machine setup and operation within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of machine tools and equipment, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in performing quality inspections and using measurement tools to ensure product accuracy.
- Familiarity with safety standards and the ability to maintain a safe working environment.
- Basic troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve machine issues efficiently.
