Job Description

PrideStaff is currently hiring a Machine Operator for a premier manufacturing facility in the local area. This position focuses on operating automated soldering systems, wave soldering machinery, and precision assembly equipment for electronic components. We are seeking a reliable production professional with mechanical aptitude who enjoys working in a clean, process-driven manufacturing environment.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Setup, calibrate, and operate automated soldering equipment and thermal processing machinery according to standard operating procedures. Perform equipment changeovers, load components, and adjust processing temperatures and feed rates for specific production runs. Conduct regular quality control checks and visual inspections on soldered circuit assemblies to ensure connections meet industry quality standards. Troubleshoot basic mechanical and operational issues on automated equipment to minimize production downtime. Perform routine operator maintenance, nozzle and reservoir cleaning, and machine alignment. Maintain a clean, organized workspace and strictly adhere to facility safety standards.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Two or more years of experience operating automated equipment in a manufacturing or electronic assembly setting. Direct experience operating wave soldering systems, selective soldering machinery, surface mount technology equipment, or thermal processing systems is required. Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting abilities. Ability to read and follow production orders, technical manuals, schematics, and standard operating procedures. High attention to detail, precision workmanship, and reliable attendance.
