Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for a Machine Operator (Excavator) with a CDL A Driver's License to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of operating an excavator to clear lots for homebuilding, as well as experience transporting equipment to various job sites. A valid CDL A license is required. Responsibilities Safely operate a CDL A truck to transport equipment between job sites. Safely operate an excavator to clear and prepare lots for homebuilding. Follow all safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and promote a safe working environment on job sites and while operating vehicles. Maintain and properly care for machinery, equipment, and trucks. Report any issues with machinery, equipment, or trucks, as well as any job-site concerns, to management. Assist with septic system installation as needed. Skills & Qualifications Ability to safely operate an excavator. Ability to install septic systems (training may be provided for the right candidate) . Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and quality control checks. Knowledge of safety standards and safe driving practices for CDL A operations. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Willingness to learn and be trained on new equipment and procedures. Valid CDL A Driver's License.
