Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of machinery, ensuring quality production, and maintaining a safe work environment. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Duties Operate and monitor machinery, including manual milling machines, lathes, polishing equipment, DC Tig welder, and bandsaw, to produce high-quality components. Interpret technical drawings and specifications. Utilize GD&T principles to maintain tolerances and specifications during production. Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation. Use hand tools effectively for polishing tasks and light assembly as needed. Conduct quality checks using basic math skills to measure dimensions and ensure product conformity. Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and improve efficiency. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Perform other duties as required, directed, or assigned. Experience Previous experience as a manual Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred. Tig Welding stainless steel Proficiency in operating manual machines, lathes, and other machining equipment is highly desirable. Familiarity with machine tooling, polishing processes, and basic math skills for measurements is essential. Ability to safely lift 50+lbs. Ability to read a measuring tape, calipers, height gauges, other precision instruments.
