Key Responsibilities Operate blending equipment (e.g., V-blenders, ribbon mixers, bin blenders) according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) Accurately weigh and verify raw materials per batch records and formulas Perform ingredient pre-checks (lot numbers, expiration dates, and status labels) Ensure proper sequencing of ingredient addition to maintain blend uniformity Monitor blending times, speeds, and conditions Document all activities in batch production records clearly and accurately Follow GMP guidelines to ensure product quality and traceability Perform equipment cleaning and sanitation according to SOPs Identify and report deviations, contamination risks, or equipment issues Work closely with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) teams Maintain a clean and organized work area (5S standards) Qualifications High school diploma or GED (associate degree preferred) 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in dietary supplements, food, or pharmaceuticals Knowledge of GMP regulations and documentation practices Basic math skills (weights, measures, and batch calculations) Ability to read and follow batch records and SOPs Comfortable working with powders and raw materials Skills & Competencies Attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational skills Ability to follow strict procedures Good communication and teamwork Problem-solving mindset Physical Requirements Ability to lift 25-50 lbs regularly Standing, bending, and working for extended periods Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, and hairnets Work Environment Manufacturing/production facility Exposure to powders, dust, and strong odors Temperature-controlled or variable conditions depending on facility Compliance Responsibilities Adhere to FDA GMP regulations (21 CFR Part 111) for dietary supplements Follow all safety, quality, and company policies Maintain proper documentation for audits and inspections
