Job purpose:
Under close supervision from the shift supervisor, the Manufacturing Machine Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, dissemble, assemble, clean, monitor and troubleshoot on assigned machines. The Manufacturing Machine operator will also be responsible for inspecting parts to specifications as necessary to maintain quality specifications.
Responsibilities:
Review batch record and verify that all components and lot numbers to be used are correct. Set-up the machine for the production run. Obtain QA release of room and machine to begin production. Maintain proper fill blend and capsules in the appropriate hoppers. Operator is responsible to fix any capping, broken tablet issue and/or capsule marking during compression/encapsulation with assistance from Shift Supervisor and/or other assigned person. Take samples throughout the production. Label all containers with the required information. Maintain cleaning logs up to date. Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly manner in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
Qualifications:
Experience as a Machine operator preferred. Knowledge of Production procedures preferred. Job requires lifting of parcels weighing up to 50 lbs. Due to nature of job bilingual, English/Spanish required to perform job duties Please send resume to Maria Menendez at maria.menendez2@careersourcesfl.com
