Duct Fabrication Manager

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Duct Fabrication Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication processes, specifically concerning SMACNA and commercial hardline duct applications. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to lead and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. No management experience required, but experience concerning duct fabrication is a MUST. Responsibilities Operate and maintain fabrication equipment, including press brake machines and plasma cutting table Perform rollforming tasks and spiral pipe making products as required for specific projects. Utilize basic math skills to measure, cut, and shape metal components accurately. Assemble metal parts and structures according to blueprints and specifications. Safely operate forklifts for material handling within the facility. Collaborate with team members to ensure quality control and adherence to safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored. Requirements Must have 3+ years experience in the duct fabrication trade. Familiarity with operating manual brakes Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment. Open to working night shift on rotation.
