WHAT YOU'LL DO

Operate, set-up, and adjust controls on Wirtgen / Roadtec milling machine to remove asphalt from highways, residential streets, parking lots and construction sites Inspect and perform maintenance on milling machine such as greasing, cleaning, and preventative Work closely with milling crew to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently Maintain constant awareness of surrounding traffic, crew movement, and equipment in work zones Follow all company safety policies and operational procedures Adapt to changing dispatch, schedules, weather conditions, and operational changes

WHAT YOU MUST HAVE

Minimum 1 year of experience in asphalt milling, paving, road construction, or related heavy equipment operations Strong knowledge of equipment inspection and maintenance needs Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed Must have clean MVR and have valid Florida driver's license Ability to safely work outdoors in tight spaces and uneven surfaces around loud noises and dust Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, kneel and frequently lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs. Strong teamwork and communication skills Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus This is a full-time, benefits-eligible position based at our Orlando, FL location.
