Full Job Description Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
Read work orders to assure accuracy of assembly Make necessary repairs or adjustments to assure quality Meet standards for quality as set forth by the company Complete the quality product label Conduct all activities in a safe manner, adhering to company safety standards Assure proper housekeeping and organization Strive to meet team efficiencies for production without compromising quality Use power tools for special door prep Computer skills Preventive Maintenance Understand work order process Able to set pace of line (lead) Able to make decisions without guidance Ability to identify most common doors and inserts Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Prior lumber experience desired. Engineered Lumber experience is preferred. Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred, but not required. Must have basic math and analytical skills. Must be computer literate, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Self-starter, pro-active and able to take initiative.
