The role involves operating powered warehouse machinery, maintaining order accuracy, supporting shipping activities, and following all safety and quality standards within a cold-storage setting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Select and build customer orders from refrigerated storage racks using pick sheets or voice-directed technology. Operate powered warehouse equipment such as electric pallet jacks and forklifts to move products and completed pallets safely throughout the facility. Inspect products and pallets for accuracy and visible damage before shipment preparation. Wrap, label, and stage completed orders for outbound shipping and transportation. Assist with rotating date-sensitive inventory and maintaining organized storage locations. Remove empty pallets, packaging materials, and debris to maintain a clean and safe work area. Perform routine equipment inspections, battery changes, and charging procedures as required. Support shipping and loading activities as assigned by warehouse leadership. Complete operational paperwork and inventory documentation accurately. Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and warehouse operating standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English for safety and operational purposes. Previous warehouse, distribution, shipping, or order selection experience preferred. Comfortable working in refrigerated or cold-storage environments while standing, lifting, bending, and moving throughout the shift. Experience operating electric pallet jacks, forklifts, RF scanners, or voice-picking systems is a plus. Able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when needed. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain picking accuracy and productivity goals. Commitment to workplace safety and following operational procedures.
