We are opening a new plastic extrusion manufacturing facility in early 2021 and will have a full-time opportunity for an experienced extrusion machine operator.

Responsibilities include:

Set up plastic extrusion line with a team of specialists. Consistently and safely operate extrusion machines at or above standard levels of operation including safety, quality, efficiency, scrap, and utilization. Trouble shoot, identify and correct machine related problems through proper adjustments to various parts of the machine. Provide innovative solutions to production issues. Provide support and guidance to less experienced personnel. Complete appropriate end of shift paperwork, accounting for crew time, machine time, and production quantities. Inspect and recognize defective product and make machine adjustments to correct cause of defects. Observe all housekeeping, standard work, and safety guidelines.

Job Requirements:

Minimum of 1-3 years of extrusion machine operation required. Must be able to stand on your feet and work for an entire 8 hours shift. Mechanical aptitude demonstrated problem solving skills and effective communication skills - written and verbal are required. Reliable transportation. The ideal candidate will possess the following: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Detail oriented. Works well within a team.
