Requirements :

No minimum education required. No experience is necessary as employer provides training. Ability to follow safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to work in a team. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with high temperatures, noise, and dust. Working on and around machinery and associated safety risks. Working outdoors in extreme heat to cold temperatures. Exposure to changing types of weather conditions. Exposure to wood dust and debris. Exposure to falling and flying particles. Standing for long periods of time. Lifting to 50 pounds and occasionally requires elevating or pushing up to 110 pounds. Bending over ground level repetitively. Employer conducts background checks and drug testing.

Job Responsibilities :

Receive instructions from the table leader to assist in the assembly process of the trusses. Generally, works on the table and is responsible for operating the staple gun to join the pieces and facilitate the assembly of the wood (this activity applies to some assembly lines). Chooses and places the connector plates at the exact assembly points following the instructions of the work order. Press the connector plates with the automatic press (pressure roll). Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized. Any other task as necessary or indicated by the Management.

Work Schedule :

Second Shift, 4:30 PM to 2:00 AM. To be discussed with employer.

Salary :

$16.00 to $18.00 per hour. Depends on experience.
