Doors and windows manufacturing facility is searching for a Lumber Yard Worker for a temporary 1-week project. Ideal candidate must be able to heavy lift up to 50 pounds comfortably, able to work outdoors under the sun, and able to start immediately. This position has the opportunity to extend depending on the full-time position availability and each individual's work ethic.

Shift:

6am - 3:30pm

Days:

Starting on 9/23 to 9/30

Pay:

$16.00 hourly Responsibilities may include: Picking up and removing loose pieces of lumber, wood scraps, cardboard, plastic, packaging materials, and other waste. Organizing and straightening lumber and other materials in designated areas. Moving or repositioning lightweight materials as needed to keep the yard organized. Gathering debris and placing it in the appropriate dumpsters, trash containers, or designated disposal areas. Breaking down and removing empty boxes, pallets, and packaging materials when instructed. Helping maintain a clean and orderly area around doors, windows, lumber storage, and manufacturing workspaces. Following instructions from the supervisor regarding where materials and debris should be placed. Identifying and reporting damaged materials, unsafe conditions, spills, or blocked walkways to the supervisor. Maintaining a clean and safe work environment throughout the shift. Following all facility safety rules and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE). This position involves physical work and requires the ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, carry, and work around lumber and manufacturing materials for extended periods.
