Job Description
Quality Staffing, Inc. is now hiring a Recycling Machine Operator for a local manufacturing company in Chatsworth, GA.
Schedule:
Monday- Friday | 7:00 AM
- 7:00 PM (Flexibility for Overtime)
Pay Rate:
$13.00 per hour Night Shift Schedule- Monday
- Friday | 7:00 PM
- 7:00 AM (Flexibility for Overtime)

$13.50 per hour Job Summary The Recycling Machine Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of machinery within the recycling department. This includes operating, monitoring, and maintaining recycling equipment, ensuring product quality, and supporting production goals. Candidates must be dependable, safety-focused, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1. Perform pre-shift inspections on assigned recycling machines and report issues before start-up. 2. Prepare, sort, and cut materials as required for machine processing. 3. Feed raw materials into machines and check output for quality and consistency. 4. Safely operate a forklift to transport materials as needed. 5. Package finished products (bales, boxes, pallets) as required. 6. Monitor machine performance and notify the supervisor of malfunctions. 7. Maintain accurate production logs and records for each shift. 8. Print and attach labels to finished goods. 9. Keep work areas clean and organized, following housekeeping standards. 10. Follow all safety protocols and wear required PPE. 11. Assist with general warehouse tasks or other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements 1. Effective verbal communication skills. 2. Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team environment. 3. Attention to detail; ability to assess quality and type of materials by sight and touch. 4. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. 5. Comfortable working in environments with temperature variations, dust, and loud noise. 6. Physically able to perform repetitive motions (wrists, hands, arms), kneel, bend, and stand for long periods. 1. Ability to safely handle and move items weighing up to 50 lbs. 2. Willingness to learn and safely operate a forklift. Work Environment and Physical Demands This position involves frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Work is performed in an industrial warehouse setting with exposure to loud noise, dust, heat, and cold. PPE (hearing protection, gloves, safety glasses, steel- toed shoes) must be worn as required.
