Job Description

Job Duties & Qualifications :
Must be proficient at reading and interpreting work orders, blueprints, technical drawings, and production specifications. Set up, operate, and monitor laser cutting equipment to ensure accurate and efficient production. Perform machine setups, material loading/unloading, and adjustments to meet production requirements. Verify material dimensions, thickness, and quality prior to processing. Conduct quality inspections on finished parts using measuring tools and gauges to ensure specifications are met. Experience with nesting software and loading production programs into laser equipment is preferred. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and perform basic maintenance as needed. Maintain accurate production records and report equipment or quality concerns to supervisors. Ensure all parts meet company quality standards and customer requirements. Keep work areas organized, clean, and safe at all times. Follow all company policies, safety standards, and operating procedures. Work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while meeting production goals. Must be willing to work overtime as needed. Must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite. Must be able to stand, bend, lift materials, and perform the physical requirements of the position throughout the shift.
Preferred Experience :
Laser Cutting Operations (Fiber Laser, CO2 Laser, or similar equipment) Nesting Software (SigmaNEST, BySoft, ProNest, or similar) Blueprint Reading and Interpretation Sheet Metal Fabrication and Manufacturing Quality Inspection and Measurement Tools (Calipers, Micrometers, Tape Measures) Basic CNC Machine Operation and Programming Knowledge Press Brake Experience is a plus Forklift or Material Handling Equipment Experience is a plus
