Fort Benning, GA Temporary Event Assignment Physical, hands-on work in an event setup environment Opportunity to support a professional event from setup through completion Job Description The Reserves Network is seeking dependable and hardworking Event Setup Technicians to assist with preparing and organizing event spaces at Fort Benning. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring event areas are properly set up, organized, and ready for attendees. The Event Setup Technician will assist with erecting tents, setting up tables and chairs, assembling pipe and drape configurations for trade show booths, hanging signs, placing decorations, and distributing event materials. This is a hands-on position that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Responsibilities Set up tents, tables, and chairs to prepare event spaces. Assemble pipe and drape configurations to create trade show booths. Hang signs and place decorations throughout designated event areas. Set out event materials, including program books and other supplies. Organize and arrange event elements to ensure a successful and seamless event experience. Maintain assigned areas and ensure workspaces remain organized. Follow instructions and complete setup assignments in a timely manner. Work cooperatively with team members to support overall event setup and preparation. Qualifications and Requirements Access to Fort Benning is required. Ability to stand and remain active for extended periods of up to 8-10 hours. Comfortable performing repetitive bending, stooping, and twisting. Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. from the floor to shoulder height without assistance. Ability to perform physically demanding, hands-on work throughout the shift. Dependable attendance and punctuality are required. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Flexibility to work varying hours based on event schedules. Ability to maintain a professional and positive attitude in an event environment.
