In person (Gainesville, GA) Job overview Machine Operator Metals is responsible for operating multiple machines, monitoring, and maintaining CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machines to produce precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints, and a commitment to quality and safety. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines to produce parts as per technical drawings and specifications Load parts and/or materials into machines and monitor the machining process Inspect finished parts for accuracy and conformance to specifications using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) Perform routine maintenance on machines and troubleshooting minor issues Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and reduce waste Document production data and report any discrepancies or quality issues Clean and maintain equipment and tools Following International Automotive Task Force quality standardsIATF 16949
Teamwork- working in a Team to fulfill daily production goals Following Internal Quality Issues procedure

- 5S-Standard Other duties assigned QualificationsEducation and Experience High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred Minimum 2 years of equivalent work experience in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment Skills, knowledge, and abilities Good reading comprehension of work instructions Familiarity with CNC controls Good ability to work in a team environment Good organizational skills Ability to run multiple machines Good problem-solving and mechanical skills Good knowledge of metal cutting machines Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Basic understanding of metric systems Good math skills Proficiency in using precision measuring devices Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Basic computer skills Attendance and punctuality
Work Environment:
Exposure to manufacturing areas (noise, machinery, and moving parts) which require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, hearing protection and slip resistant safety toe shoes. Physical requirements Lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs. Pushing and pulling up to 60 lbs. using material handling equipment Constant standing, reaching outward, handling and using fingers Frequently reaching above shoulders, walking and bending Occasional climbing, squatting, and kneelingDisclaimer:
