Continental Shift (1st Week 44 hrs-2nd week 36 hrs) 8:00 am-8:00 pm, 12hr shift.

MACHINE OPERATION FUNCTIONS

Read, follow, and set-up order using the Production Order, Order Instructions, Specifications, and Recipe (if applicable), and any other information that may be pertinent to meeting the customer's requirements. Thread the Winder/Rewinder. Operate the hot wire splicing system at the Rewinder. Properly calculate and setup rewinder shaft.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to do simple math, read, write, and read a tape measure; job competence will be determined during 90 day trial period in accordance with New Hire Training program. Must be capable of working an assigned 12-hour Continental shift. (Night shift 8:00pm - 8:00am). Must be capable of working before shift, after shift and/or off-days as needed. Must be capable of supporting maintenance / cleaning shutdowns, as well as unexpected shutdowns. Must have good communication skills with the ability to learn quickly and to pay attention to detail.
