Preferred Personnel Solutions is seeking Machine Operators to hire at a manufacturing warehouse located in Marietta! The ideal candidate should have MOP/Warehouse experience, be dependable, have reliable transportation, and available to work full time.

Machine Operators:

After meeting all of PPS' standard qualifications, Candidate must meet below qualifications: High school diploma or GED is required. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to understand and follow English work instructions. Effective verbal and written communication. Basic math skills for measurements and calibrations. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to move between teams or shifts as business needs change. Prior heavy manufacturing experience preferred; metal industry a plus. Must be willing to submit to a drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities of Machine Operators:

Load and verify raw materials per work order. Perform verification cuts and confirm specifications before production. Adjust machine settings for material or specification changes. Provide QC samples for approval as needed. Maintain proper machine alignment for consistent material feed. Continuously inspect material for defects (thick/thin strands, curling, broken bonds, out of shape rolls). Stop production and alert Quality or Mechanics if material is out of specification, using the machine light system. Apply correct packaging sleeves, verify labels, and prepare finished rolls to company standards. Palletize rolls with proper alignment, no gaps, and correct cardboard layers. Move pallets with pallet jack to the packaging staging area with finished orders. Accurately update work orders and complete all shift paperwork. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. Assist with training team members as needed. Performs other duties as assigned by management.
