Your responsibilities
- Machine setup: efficiently execute setups and tooling changeovers on production machines (e.g., stamping, assembly, injection molding, etc.) according to job specifications and procedural guidelines
- Operation and monitoring: competently operate production machinery, feeding materials and monitoring machine cycles, speeds, and temperatures to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshooting:
diagnose and resolve basic machine faults, jams, or process deviations during the production run to minimize downtime- Quality control: perform routine in-process inspections using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, gauges) to ensure all components meet established quality standards and tolerances
- Maintenance support: conduct basic preventative maintenance and machine cleaning to keep equipment running smoothly throughout the shift.
