Press Operator (Fiberglass Fabrication Technician)

Pay:
$22 Job Description We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Fiberglass Fabrication Technician to join our production team. This role involves hands-on fabrication of fiberglass components for water vehicles in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Unroll and use jigs to manually cut fiberglass sheets to required specifications. Load heavy fiberglass sheets into a molding press Remove excess material from molds after each press run Remove fabricated decks and hulls using a pneumatic manipulator crane. Load and unload decks and hulls into a water jet cutting system to create holes per specifications. Sand and remove excess fiberglass material from decks and hulls. Maintain a clean and safe work area throughout the production process Work Environment Very hot manufacturing environment. Physically demanding role requiring lifting, standing, and repetitive motions. Use of industrial equipment and safety gear is required Qualifications Manufacturing or fiberglass experience preferred (training available) Ability to lift heavy materials with assistance and equipment. Comfortable working in hot conditions. Ability to follow detailed specifications and safety procedures.
