Job Summary:
A Machine Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various types of machinery to produce pieces or perform specific tasks according to established procedures and quality standards. The Machine Operator ensures the equipment's safe and efficient operation and troubleshoots issues as they arise.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and control machinery as per standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production schedules. Set up machines before production, including loading materials, adjusting settings, and ensuring the proper calibration of equipment. Monitor the output for quality and consistency, performing inspections, and making necessary adjustments to maintain product specifications. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety issues to the supervisor. Maintain records of production output, machine settings, and machine activities. Complete production logs as required. Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and quality control personnel to ensure smooth production and resolve any issues that may arise during the process. Strive to maximize machine productivity and minimize downtime by optimizing machine setting and operational procedures. Ensure compliance with regulations, safety standards, and company policies at all times. Must be able to meet or exceed daily production goals.

Requirements Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience as a Machine Operator in a related industry. Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of machine operation. Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality products. Physical stamina to stand, lift, and perform manual tasks for extended periods. Basic computer skills for data entry and equipment control panels. Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team. Knowledge of safety procedures and willingness to follow them rigorously.
Physical Requirements:
Machine Operators may be required to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods. They should be able to handle heavy machinery and work in various environmental conditions.
