Saw Operator

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Saw Jet Operator to program and operate a Prussiani Cut & Jet saw. This role involves translating shop drawings into accurate cutting programs and producing high-quality finished pieces.

Responsibilities:

Program, set up, and operate the saw jet machine Interpret shop drawings and create efficient cut programs Optimize layouts to reduce material waste Inspect slabs for defects and adjust as needed Maintain consistent accuracy and quality standards Perform basic machine maintenance and troubleshooting Meet production schedules and resolve workflow issues Assist and support less experienced team members

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in stone fabrication, CNC programming, or similar Experience with saw programming and operation (Prussiani preferred) Ability to read and interpret shop drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Attention to detail and commitment to quality Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
