Machine Operators Needed Remedy Intelligent Staffing Is Proud To Work With Some Of The Finest Companies In Eastern Iowa! Our client is looking for Shredder, Packaging and Production Machine Operators. Long Term Temporary position.

Wage Range:

$20.00 to $24.00 based on shift and position 12 hour shifts: 7pm to 7am, Rotating schedule.

Position Summary:

The Machine Operator may operate processing, packaging, computer control system, and material handling equipment to safely produce quality product in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a

Packaging Operator:

Operate all machines and equipment necessary to properly process and package finished product Must have experience operating a fork truck in a manufacturing environment Load, unload, store, sample, and transfer raw materials, finished product, and miscellaneous items Maintain equipment through proper lubrication, minor repairs/adjustments; report all malfunctions and needed repairs Maintain accurate and complete records and charts Routinely sanitize and clean plant equipment and facilities Perform material handling duties in accordance with all applicable OSHA and EPA standards Effectively communicate with all other team members Participate in safety, quality, and productivity improvement projects Fill in for overtime requirements including vacation, sick leave, training and others as needed Perform other duties and tasks as required In addition to the Essential Duties and Responsibilities listed above, the Production Machine Operator also must perform the added tasks: Perform all required "in process" tests and adjustments Review Batch Manufacturing Records for completeness and accuracy Make sure all paperwork and forms are available and completed for their shift Must be able to operate computer control systems (PLC's).

Experience Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent Previous production experience in a pharmaceutical or food manufacturing plant Proficient computer skills, Microsoft Office / control system experience Must be an experienced forklift driver. Candidates will be required to pass our forklift validation process.
