Non-Exempt Shift:
3rd Shift; Sunday-Thursday 11:00PM - 7:00AM (Training for 8-12 weeks on 1st Shift Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:00PM)
Pay:
$17.50/hour + $2.50/hour shift differential ($20.00/hr)
Position Overview:
RIE Coatings is expanding our operations and adding a new 3rd shift, and we are hiring Machine Operators to join our growing team! If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and looking for a hands-on position, we'd love to meet you. Job Duties Machine Operators are responsible for performing a variety of production tasks, including: Operating media blast machines or dip spin coating machines according to work instructions and production schedules Following job travelers to ensure proper processing and efficiency Entering production data into the computer and maintaining required daily documentation and logs Inspecting parts and performing quality checks to ensure proper processing and coating Monitoring product to ensure it is processed correctly to prevent rust or under-treatment Moving heavy bins of product using forklifts or pallet jacks to transport materials to and from machines Loading and unloading parts into machines during the production process Performing routine safety checks and safety walks to identify and report hazards Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment , including cleaning spills and debris Collaborating with team members and communicating effectively across shifts to maintain production flow Cross-training in other areas of production as needed Supporting other departments and completing additional tasks as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs frequently, 65 lbs occasionally, and 75 lbs rarely. Full range of physical motion, including standing, bending, twisting, and reaching for extended periods.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
Dependability and attention to detail. Basic math, reading, and writing skills. Basic computer skills. Strong communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to follow instructions and maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
Work EnvironmentPhysical Demands:
Work is performed in a production/warehouse setting. Exposure to chemicals and hot conditions. Frequent movement, including standing and lifting throughout the shift.
