Job Description

BHJ USA, LLC.
is a leading supplier of fresh/frozen meat blends to both the wet and dry pet food industries. We are seeking a motivated individual to perform a variety of tasks and activities related to waste management and cleaning of tanker trucks that contain processed raw materials for the pet food, pharmaceutical and feed industries. Disassembles, inspects, cleans and reassembles tank parts including, but not limited to, valves, caps, clamps, pumps and other equipment that is to be cleaned per standard operating procedures. Removes and properly disposes of material and material build up from inside tanks using high pressure washing system or other tools. Comprehends and verifies the ability to perform confined space entry and rescue. Demonstrates the ability to rig up and rid down tankers safely using fall protection. Completes required forms or documents. Ensures trucks and equipment are safety and securely stored. Performs external sanitation of tankers and floors using high pressure hose and other tools to ensure that our equipment and facility is kept clean and hygienic Adhere to all safety guidelines and wearing of all required safety gear (PPE) Adhere to attendance guidelines of the company at the assigned location High school diploma or GED preferred. Must also possess the following skills: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Ability to complete all assigned tasks and shifts as assigned according to production requirements Ability to work as a part of a team and treat coworkers with respect Experience in the meat processing industry is desired but not required Ability to obtain forklift and pallet jack certification Will be frequently exposed to cool and wet conditions. Must be able to lift up to 30-50 pounds on a frequent basis and be able to work around raw beef, chicken or other similar raw materials and odors.
