Operator 1 is responsible for Sort & Pack Operations including lessor skilled work than that of Labor Grade 5 on the shop floor in compliance with
IATF 16949
Standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for continuous operation of machinery in order to eliminate any unnecessary downtime. Able to troubleshoot manufacturing issues in order to maintain quality standards. Able to operate all mobile equipment. May be Responsible for material handling, overhead cranes, and pulling racks from chambers. Must be able to measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and other similar devices. Responsible for sorting, packaging, gluing and dumping scrap. Responsible to complete all paperwork, documentation, and BPCS transactions accurately and on- time. Responsible to assist in general housekeeping of the department. Responsible to adhere to all company safety policies and procedures while also maintaining a safe work environment at all times. Performs other duties or special projects as required or as assigned.
Qualification Requirements Educational/Training Requirement:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience:
Manufacturing experience a plus.
Licenses/Certifications:
N/A Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong written and verbal communication skills Basic math skills Highly motivated Strong time management and priorities management skills Analytical and problem solving skills Computer literate with knowledge of Excel. BPCS experience a plus. Ability to interact with vendors and internal customers Metrics driven
