- Packaging Technician
- , where you'll play a key role in processing, packaging, and preparing glass products for shipment. This position is ideal for individuals with manufacturing or production experience who enjoy hands-on work, operating equipment, and being part of a team-focused environment. Comprehensive training is provided, including opportunities to learn forklift and front-end loader operation.
- Responsibilities
- + Safely retrieve glass materials from the yard using a front-end loader.
+ Monitor production bins and sifters to maintain continuous workflow.
+ Verify and package the correct glass bead products according to specifications.
+ Accurately fill, seal, and prepare product bags for shipment.
+ Stage finished products in designated shipping areas.
+ Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
+ Perform visual inspections to ensure product quality and proper fill levels.
+ Assist with production, packaging, assembly, and palletizing activities.
+ Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
+ Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
+ Follow all safety policies and operational procedures.
+ Support additional production needs as business demands change.
- Qualifications
- + Minimum of 1 year of experience in a manufacturing, production, or industrial environment.
+ Experience with packaging, material handling, assembly, or general labor tasks.
+ Mechanical aptitude and ability to work around industrial equipment.
+ Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
+ Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
+ Willingness to learn new equipment and production processes.
- Preferred Qualifications
- + Forklift experience. + Front-end loader experience. + Experience in heavy manufacturing, aggregate, concrete, or industrial production environments. + Previous quality inspection or production line experience.

- Work Environment
- This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility and involves exposure to varying temperatures throughout the year. Employees regularly work with industrial equipment, glass materials, and production machinery. The position requires standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift.

- The pay range for this position is $18.74
