Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packaging Operator II to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the packaging process, ensuring that products are assembled, fabricated, and packaged according to strict quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical processes and adherence to FDA regulations and GMP practices. The Packaging Operator will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, utilizing various tools and equipment to meet production goals. Duties Operate packaging machinery and equipment efficiently to ensure smooth production flow. Assemble and fabricate packaging materials as per specifications. Conduct regular inspections of packaged products to ensure compliance with quality standards. Maintain accurate records of production activities and report any discrepancies. Follow all safety protocols and adhere to FDA regulations during the packaging process. Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues with packaging equipment as needed. Collaborate with Packaging Lead and other team members to meet production deadlines and improve operational efficiency. Skills Experience in a warehouse setting, preferably within a food manufacturing or packaging environment. Familiarity with FDA regulations and GMP practices related to food. Understanding of logic controllers used in packaging operations is a plus. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with a logical approach to tasks. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
