  • 4:30 PM Monday
  • Thursday (overtime as needed) Reports to: Production Supervisor /
Manager Pay:
$22.00
  • $25.
00 per hour (depending on experience)

About the Role We are seeking two dependable and detail-oriented Mixer / Packaging Line Attendants to join our production team at Nutlicious Hazelnut Spreads. This dual-role position supports both the mixing and packaging departments, ensuring premium hazelnut spread products are prepared, packaged, and handled according to strict quality, food safety, and production standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, follows procedures carefully, and takes pride in producing high-quality products.
THE MIXER / PACKAGING LINE ATTENDANT RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
Mixing Department
  • Weigh, measure, and stage ingredients according to batch sheets and production schedules.
  • Monitor product consistency, temperatures, and mixing times.
  • Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
  • Clean and sanitize mixing equipment and work areas.
  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and all food safety requirements. Packaging Department
  • Operate and monitor packaging lines to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Inspect containers, labels, seals, and finished products for quality and accuracy.
  • Supply packaging materials to the production line as needed.
  • Assist with changeovers, cleaning, and sanitation activities.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Report equipment issues or quality concerns to supervisors. Continuous Improvement & Team Support
  • Participate in maintaining a positive team-oriented environment.
  • Support cross-training between mixing and packaging functions.
  • Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency. What You Bring
  • Previous food manufacturing, packaging, production, or mixing experience preferred.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
  • Forklift experience is a plus but not required. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in food production or nut processing.
  • Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, or food safety practices. Compensation & Benefits

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL FACTORS
  • Ability to stand for long periods (10 to 12 hour shifts) and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Work in a food manufacturing environment (may include cool/humid conditions).
  • Exposure to a loud working environment; hearing protection is mandatory.
  • Must be able to work in an environment containing allergens (hazelnuts, etc.).
  • Required to use hands and fingers; frequently required to talk or hear.
  • Working around heavy duty machinery with pinch points

  • Thursday schedule with occasional overtime as needed.
