In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and products. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, technical proficiency with CNC and manual equipment, and a commitment to safety standards. Responsibilities Operate CNC machining centers, including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, and CNC programming to manufacture parts according to technical specifications. Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot machinery such as press brake machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, and fabrication equipment. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and manufacturing documents to ensure accurate production runs. Perform precision measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensional accuracy. Maintain safety standards in production areas by adhering to safety protocols and conducting routine equipment inspections. Handle materials and tools efficiently, including materials handling and tooling management for various manufacturing processes. Collaborate with team members on assembly line tasks, packaging, and quality control procedures. Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance. Support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting process enhancements based on operational observations. Skills Proficiency in CNC programming languages such as G-code and CAM programming for complex machining operations. Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automated manufacturing systems. Experience operating shop math tools including calipers, micrometers, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and blueprint reading. Mechanical knowledge related to fabrication processes, tooling setup, and machine maintenance. Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks for interpreting technical drawings. Ability to interpret production documents accurately and apply shop math principles effectively. Knowledge of safety standards in manufacturing environments to ensure compliance at all times. Hands-on experience with factory operations including packaging, assembly line work, and materials handling. Basic troubleshooting skills for industrial equipment issues with a focus on safety and efficiency. Strong communication skills for effective teamwork within a manufacturing facility.
