Schedule:

2nd shift (3:00pm-1:30am, Monday-Thursday) PROMAN Staffing is hiring a Machine Operator for a manufacturing facility in Batavia, IL . This opportunity is ideal for individuals with extrusion or machine operation experience seeking a long-term, full-time position in a stable and safety-focused environment. Job Summary The Machine Operator will operate key manufacturing equipment used to produce high-quality plastic compounds. This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to follow safety procedures at all times. Required Testing (Completed on First Day — All Paid) To comply with safety and OSHA requirements, the following tests will be completed on your first day of employment:

Respirator Fit Test:

Required for equipment usage.

Lifting Assessment:

Ensures ability to lift correctly and safely (up to 55 lbs). Audiogram (Hearing Test): OSHA-compliant test for loud manufacturing environments. All tests are paid and required to begin working. Responsibilities Operate extrusion, mixing, and production equipment safely and efficiently. Follow all standard operating procedures and safety guidelines. Perform product measurements, inspections, and quality documentation. Assist with pre- and post-production processes (drying, bagging, grinding, etc.). Troubleshoot basic mechanical issues and report equipment concerns. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. 2+ years manufacturing experience preferred. Extrusion experience highly desired. Ability to lift 55 lbs frequently . Ability to learn plant equipment and processes. Strong communication and mechanical skills. Why Work With PROMAN Staffing?
