Job Description

Position Summary:
The Machine Operator plays a crucial role in the production process by operating various pieces of finishing equipment to produce high-quality products. This position provides an opportunity to learn and develop skills across multiple machines, working collaboratively with the production team to meet targets and ensure timely delivery.
Essential Responsibilities/Duties:
Machine Operation & Production:
Operate machinery following standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and quality. Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain optimal output. Machinery will include guillotine cutters and inserting machines.
Maintenance & Troubleshooting:
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and prevent production disruptions. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to ensure proper function. Troubleshoot minor machine-related issues and escalate concerns to the production supervisor as needed.
Safety & Compliance:
Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment. Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations related to machine operation.
General Support:
Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Willingness to learn and operate various types of machinery. Basic knowledge of machinery operation and maintenance (prior experience is a plus but not required). Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
Pay:
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
