In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of industrial machinery to produce high-quality components and products. Your expertise in machine operation, technical troubleshooting, and precision measurement will ensure efficient production processes and adherence to safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced manufacturing environment where your skills directly impact product quality and operational success. Duties Set up, operate, and monitor various manufacturing machines including CNC, punch press. 4Slide. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to ensure accurate fabrication and assembly. Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges to verify dimensional accuracy and ensure compliance with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) standards. Troubleshoot machine issues promptly to minimize downtime, performing basic repairs or coordinating with maintenance teams as needed. Handle materials safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; prepare parts for packaging or assembly line processes. Maintain detailed records of production activities, quality checks, and machine maintenance logs. Follow safety protocols rigorously to uphold safety standards in the production environment while maintaining high-quality output. Qualifications Proven experience operating industrial machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Ability to perform shop math accurately for measurements and calculations related to fabrication processes. Experience with tooling setup, calibration, and machining adjustments to meet precise specifications. Knowledge of safety standards in production environments including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Excellent problem-solving skills with industrial equipment troubleshooting capabilities. Physical ability to stand for extended periods; operate forklifts safely; lift heavy materials; and perform detailed inspections using precision measurement tools. Strong communication skills for interpreting technical instructions and collaborating effectively within the team.
