Job Description

Role Snapshot At 6:00 AM, you clock in at our client's Alsip, IL facility and step into a hands-on role at the heart of production. As an Industrial Batch Compounder supporting Nexus Employment Solutions Plus, Inc.'s valued client, you translate precise formulas into consistent, high‑quality product. By 2:30 PM, your batches are documented, your area is sanitary, and your team goals are moving forward.

$22/hour
Schedule:
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM What You'll Do You'll execute blend plans from start to finish, owning quality, safety, and documentation at every step. Interpret and follow formulas and standardized work instructions with precision. Operate a variety of mixers safely, efficiently, and in compliance with training requirements. Verify raw material identity and ensure full lot traceability throughout the process. Keep your work area organized, sanitary, and audit‑ready. Complete all batch records and related paperwork accurately and on time. Work independently while actively contributing to team throughput and quality targets.
Advanced Scope:
Level 1 Batch Maker Inspect and approve formulations prior to processing. Competently batch all formulas across all mixers on site. Act as the designated buddy trainer for peers. Troubleshoot and proactively prevent batch deviations. Support PIT (powered industrial truck) operations as assigned. Demonstrate expert knowledge of multiple mixers and product groups. What You Bring Clear, confident communication skills and a positive, solutions‑focused mindset. Ability to make sound decisions in a fast‑moving production environment. Strong time management and prioritization; professional, team‑oriented approach. Comfort collaborating cross‑functionally with other departments. Education & Experience At least 4 years of batch making/compounding experience. High School Diploma or GED required.
