We specialize in trailer reconditioning, liftgate installations, box truck body repair, and fleet refurbishing for commercial vehicles. Our skilled team takes pride in quality workmanship, fast turnaround times, and helping our customers keep their fleets on the road.
Job Summary:
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Truck & Trailer Repair Technician/Mechanic to join our growing refurb department. This is a fast-paced, physical role ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, solving problems, and taking pride in rebuilding and restoring commercial equipment. This role involves trailer repairs, body panel work, liftgate installs, fabrication, and interior/exterior refurbishment. If you've worked in fleet maintenance, collision repair, or trailer/body rebuilds, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Rebuild and repair trailers and box trucks: flooring, roofs, walls, doors, bumpers, and framework Install and remove liftgates, roll-up doors, lights, side doors, and other accessories Perform light welding, cutting, and fabrication (MIG preferred) Prep surfaces for paint: sanding, grinding, and minor bodywork Maintain a clean and safe work area Work as part of a team with shop foremen, parts, and other techs to meet deadlines
Qualifications:
1+ year of hands-on experience in trailer repair, truck bodywork, or mechanical trades Proficient with hand tools, tape measures, power tools, and shop equipment Welding and fabrication experience is a strong plus Comfortable working around large vehicles and equipment Valid driver's license Able to lift 75+ lbs and perform physical tasks daily
Preferred Experience:
Experience with box truck repairs, liftgate installation, or fleet refurb projects Automotive prep or painting Forklift certification a plus
Valid Commercial Driver's License Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Some overtime may be available)

Competitive hourly rate based on experience + overtime opportunities
