Machine Operator (Alloyd Tech I)- Thermoforming 1st Shift

$22.95/hour (possibly higher with Thermoforming experience)

Monday-Thursday, 6:00 AM - 4:30

PM Summary:

This role is responsible for safely operating vacuum and pressure forming machines, ensuring quality production, and performing tooling changeovers. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a collaborative manufacturing environment. Thermoforming, Injection Molding, and/or Manufacturing experiance is a plus. Key Responsibilities Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe, organized work environment. Verify job orders, materials, and tooling components meet customer specifications and revision levels. Retrieve, inspect, and prepare tooling components for production setup. Perform accurate and timely machine changeovers and adjustments. Fine-tune press settings to ensure high-quality finished goods. Record production data, including setup, teardown, and quality measurements. Collaborate with packers to ensure products meet quality standards. Perform minor machine maintenance and troubleshooting. Maintain housekeeping standards within the thermoforming area. Assist with reclaim quality checks and adhere to reclaim procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand tools (micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, etc.). Basic math and measurement skills. Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English. Team-oriented mindset with positive interpersonal skills. Willingness to learn and follow detailed technical procedures. Physical Requirements Operate vacuum and pressure forming machinery. Lift and move tools weighing 45-65 lbs. Push/pull up to 60 lbs at chest or waist height. Stand for 8+ hours per day in a manufacturing environment. Work in conditions that may include heat (up to 100°F in summer), humidity, and production noise. Exposure to typical manufacturing hazards such as energy isolation, electricity, pinch points, and moving machine parts.
