Job Summary:

The Sandblaster is responsible for safely removing debris and imperfections from the unit utilizing the blast booth with steel shot media.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Blasting tanks, shrouds, and frames to remove dirt, grease, paint, and other built-up material from surfaces Set up and operate sandblasting equipment Log all work completed Turn booth on and off following work procedure orders Clean booth as directed Proper PPE (person protective equipment) MUST be worn while in booth Performs other duties as assigned

Monday-Thursday 8:00 pm- 6:30am

Pay Range of $18.43 - $23.96 $2.00/hour night shift differential Productivity Bonus, paid quarterly. Average 2025 payout was $7/hour. Previous sandblasting experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and sandblasting Must have enough manual dexterity and stability as required for precision work Must be able to push a rolling load of parts. Must be able to kneel and crouch and climb ladders Must be able to lift 50lbs Must be at least 18 years old
