This role is ideal for high school and college students looking for a summer job, as well as individuals who are attending local community colleges who would like to work year round. At minimum, applicants need to be available for most of June/July/August. Field Crew Members are responsible for the loading, delivery, installation, takedown, and return of rental equipment, with a primary focus on light-duty tent installations. Bring your friends! Key Responsibilities Load rental equipment at the warehouse prior to scheduled deliveries Install and take down light-duty tents and related rental items at customer locations Unload and return rental items to the warehouse after events Travel to and from job sites across various Illinois suburbs in a company-owned truck Work as part of a 2-5 person crew to complete deliveries and pickups efficiently Follow installation procedures, safety protocols, and job-site guidelines Maintain professionalism and teamwork while on customer property Assist with warehouse tasks as needed before and after routes Help with off season projects (if year round availability) Training Provided Paid 2-week crash course covering: Tent installation and takedown procedures Equipment handling and safety Warehouse processes and job-site expectations Qualifications & Skills Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting and operating heavy equipment and tools (must be able to lift 50lbs) Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions Strong work ethic and ability to work efficiently under time constraints Team-oriented with good communication skills Prior labor, construction, or hands-on work experience preferred (but not required) Must be reliable and punctual Must wear closed toed boots Valid Drivers License Over the age of 16 Work Environment Outdoor job sites in residential and commercial locations Warehouse with forklift and shelving Physical, fast-paced work requiring lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods Team-based environment with structured daily planning Seasonal Summer with consistent hours Flexible scheduling (sports, summer school)
