Elgin Industries is hiring a Machine Setup Operator for our 2nd shift production team. Why you'll like this opportunity: Four-day workweek: Monday through Thursday 5% shift differential for 2nd shift Stable, family-owned manufacturing company with more than 100 years in business Hands-on setup role with variety, responsibility, and production impact What you'll do: Set up equipment, troubleshoot basic equipment issues, and make machine adjustments to support uptime, efficient production, and consistent quality. Support daily production activities. Monitor and replenish raw materials associated with cells or work centers. Follow safe work procedures and support a clean, organized 5S work area. Safely handle scrap during and after production runs. Assist with training employees and supporting other departments when needed. Schedule:

Monday through Thursday, 4:30 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. Work four 10-hour shifts each week and receive a 5% shift differential.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent manufacturing experience. Candidates must be able to follow instructions, use good judgment, work safely in a production environment, and lift or move up to 50 pounds as required.
