We are seeking an experienced Process Technician to support and supervise production operations within a thermoforming plastics manufacturing environment . This role combines hands-on process expertise with ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing operations. This role is NOT suitable if you do not have: Relevant hands on experience with thermoforming machinery Experience in setting up, monitoring and trobleshooting thermoforming machinery Legal right to work in the United States The Process Technician will oversee daily production activities, support machine setup and troubleshooting, train and coach production employees, and drive continuous improvement across thermoforming processes. Responsibilities Set up, change over, and maintain thermoforming machines. Remove, install, and change forming tooling and mold components. Set machine parameters for safe, efficient, and high-quality production. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues. Make machine and process adjustments to maintain quality, yield, and efficiency. Optimize thermoforming processes to improve throughput and reduce machine and tooling wear. Perform preventative maintenance on forming machines. Ensure product changeovers are completed safely, accurately, and on time. Review and complete production process documentation. Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas. Follow PPE and workplace safety requirements. Ensure production meets required quality standards. About You We're looking for someone with: Previous experience operating thermoforming equipment . Experience with machine setup and changeovers . Experience changing mold components and forming tooling . Strong mechanical and equipment troubleshooting skills. Experience with thermoforming process optimization . Ability to set and adjust machine parameters. Experience performing preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment. A strong understanding of production quality, safety, and efficiency standards. Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment. Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs . Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 lbs . Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs . Work in a manufacturing environment that can become hot, particularly during the summer months.
