The ideal candidate will have experience in operating machinery within a manufacturing facility and possess a strong understanding of precision measuring instruments. This role is crucial in ensuring the production process runs smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. Duties Operate and monitor various types of machinery, including stamping presses, to fabricate and assemble components. Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production specifications are met. Utilize GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles to maintain quality control throughout the manufacturing process. Perform CAM programming as needed to optimize machine performance. Conduct regular inspections using calipers and other precision measuring instruments to ensure product quality. Apply basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and adjustments during the manufacturing process. Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment issues and implement solutions promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols. Qualifications Previous experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing facility is preferred. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of GD&T is highly desirable. Familiarity with CAM programming is a plus. Strong skills in fabricating and assembling components using various tools and machinery. Ability to use precision measuring instruments, including calipers, for quality assurance. Basic math skills for performing necessary calculations related to production tasks. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
