Machine Operator Job Description This role focuses on setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machines to produce high-quality parts in a fast-paced production environment. You will work with technical drawings and precision measuring tools to ensure all components meet strict quality standards, while contributing to a small, collaborative team and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC machines, including Okuma lathes and Seiki mills, to produce parts according to specifications. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to determine machining requirements. Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other hand tools to verify compliance with quality standards. Monitor machine operations, identify issues, and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and production efficiency. Perform routine maintenance on machines and promptly report any mechanical or operational issues. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety regulations and company procedures. Complete production logs, inspection records, and other documentation accurately and on time. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily and weekly production goals. Use mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to address minor mechanical or process problems. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
