A Machine Set Up Technician sets up machinery used in a manufacturing facility, ready for use by operators. May also be responsible for basic operation of machines.
PROMAN Staffing has partnered with a well-known manufacturer in Naperville, IL! We are now hiring experienced Set-Up and Process Technicians who are team players, versatile, and dependable! Set-Up and Process Technician Job Summary Pay rate: 30-40/hr
Shifts:
1st, 2nd, and 3rd are open Safely and correctly set up a line from cold shutdown to sellable product, setting temperature profiles on the extruder and die based on material and product type Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools as the Set-Up and Process Technician on the line, making adjustments to keep product within spec Safely operate extruders, winders, pullers, cutters, ovens, and other related equipment, including basic troubleshooting like backpressure interpretation and screen changes Set-Up and Process Technician Qualifications Basic math skills and able to read/write English sufficiently to follow directions, safety instructions, and training materials Able to correctly interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation Available to work any assigned shift or day, including occasional weekends, early starts, or late stays Able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand up to 8 hours, and repeatedly bend, kneel, twist, and climb ladders/stairs as needed Why PROMAN Staffing?
