Job Description
Job description Our Packaging Operators are responsible for the daily set up, operation, and cleaning of our canning and kegging line and the auxiliary equipment used to package our products. Other duties include but are not limited to performing quality control checks on packaged goods, performing routine maintenance on equipment, stocking and taking inventory of packaging materials, maintaining accurate records of all packaging activities, maintaining cleanliness throughout the brewery and other duties as assigned. Desired qualities We're looking for a self-motivated individual that works well as part of a team. No prior brewing or packaging experience is required, but prior experience in machine operation or in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will need to keep the safety of themselves and their co-workers a top priority while also possessing the following traits Detail oriented Demonstrate good judgement and analytical skills Mechanically inclined Dedicated to quality Ability to multitask Effective time management skills Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Position requirements Regular and predictable on-site job attendance Physical ability to: Stand for long periods of time Squat, crouch, kneel Perform repetitive movements Lift up to 60 lbs unassisted and up to 160 lbs assisted Work in a fast paced environment Safe operation of heavy machinery Handle hazardous chemicals safely Work in hot and cold temperatures Work on uneven, wet, or elevated surfaces Effectively communicate between departments Experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred Typical start time: 8AM, 10PM Typical end time: 4:30 PM, 6:30PM Work Remotely No This Job Is Ideal for
